In these brush and pigment drawings with words on rag paper, darkly humorous images of animals, people, flora and fauna obliquely and idiosyncratically address social, political and philosophical issues.
Last year, Roger had solo shows at the University of South Florida’s Contemporary Art Museum (with catalog) and Marcia Wood Gallery in Atlanta, and was in group shows at Privateer Gallery in Brooklyn and Decker Gallery at MICA. He has worked reclusively in Florida for over 30 years, producing drawings, poetry and installations.
